So you wanna start a pull list?

Maybe you've never read a comic before but you saw a movie with a character you love? A show from your childhood or something brand new? Maybe your friend just said you HAVE to check out what's happening in comics but you have no idea where to start. Comics have been around for a long time and it can be overwhelming figuring out where to start, and that's where I come in.

Pull lists, otherwise known as subscriptions or just pulls, have been around for as long as there's been comic shops and they're the easiest way to ensure you're up to date with any new comics or series coming out. 

In the past, it's been a bit tricky to get a pull started at your local shop. You'd have to walk in, talk to the person at the counter, figure out which series you care about, maybe pick up a previews catalogue each month, and call or email every time you wanted to make a change to your list. 

Yeah, you're right there does and now there is. We're super excited to be apart of a beta pre-launch for a new software that will let you manage your comic subscriptions and pre-orders all online, completely by yourself, with full previews and updated info about what's coming out soon. You can find it on our site under the subscriptions page here. 

As of right now, we're still in beta, so bear with us if you encounter a bit of weirdness or bugs along the way, but we truly believe that this will be the future of comic subscriptions. 

All you've got to do is find your favourite series or upcoming product, and hit subscribe or pre-order (depending on it being an ongoing series or one time item). The series will get added to your subscriptions, and whenever a new issue comes out we'll make sure a copy is ordered for you and put away in your own private box. 

In this Amazing Spider-Man example, you can see that it's "Final Order Cutoff" or FOC is 2021-07-19. That means that we have to make sure our order for issue #72 is in by July 19th or we have no guarantee that we'll be able to get it, and it's ship date is a little more than a month after on August 25th, 2021, so make sure you get your subscription in before the FOC! You can browse by FOC to make sure you're within the range.

The product pages are automatically updated whenever a new Previews catalogue comes out, so you can be sure you're up to date. Comics and graphic novels are often printed to meet the demand, and as collectible items we have to make sure our orders are in well ahead of time, so you can expect when you first subscribe to an item, you'll get it roughly 1-3 months after your initial order, and as long as you stay subscribed, we'll make sure you get everything after that! You can find your currently subscribed titles here once you're logged into the site, and once we've pulled some stuff for you, you'll find those titles in the same place!

The pull list page is meant to be a current and future ordering service, so you won't find older titles in there. Those will still be in our regular product pages, but for anything new and upcoming, the Subscriptions page is your best bet!

Lastly, we're happy to give scaling discounts based on the titles you're subscribed to at 5 you get 5% off, 10 is 10% and 15+ is 15%. This includes comics or graphic novels. We can tailor each order to each individual, and will be happy to figure out the best way to get your comics to you, whether it's a shipment, delivery, or finding us at a pop-up location!
